Hi Simon,
I'm from Telford but its not something i brag about
Have you been to Cyprus before? What did you think? This will be my first time. We have been to Lanzarote for the last 7 years so this is going to be interesting. The kids love going to karaoke bars so i hope there are some open when we get there otherwise i'm in trouble  ..............Steve

Hi Steve,

You won't be far from Sids bar on Tomb of the Kings, very popular with the karaoke crowd.

Strange, very strange. No-where was open anyway so we would of had to tuck into your vintage Port and expensive Malt wouldn't we! We visited Mario at Moonlight a few times - he is a star!

I cannot believe how clear and wondrous the night skies have been since I moved to Cyprus...

Orion's belt, Cassiopeia, Seven Sisters ... no end to the clarity of vision ...

Hubby is coming over next week and he has promised to buy the most state of the art telescope ....... simply because Cyprus is so well suited for observing the night sky ....

One of life's little luxuries....

To all budding astronomers out there .... move to Cyprus ... you will not be disappointed . :D

I suggest you hire a car after you get here as being a slow season you will be able to bargain for a good deal. If want a nice and easy evening you can always visit the Paphos Amathus Hotel piano bar any Monday, Wednesday or Friday nights and hear me sing. :)

I have just added that to my diary. I have to see your eyes sing.

Try this for size my dear…

The night sky is truly awesome here… Pissouri suffers from very little ‘light pollution’ giving a clear view of the Milky Way on moon-less nights…

I’ll show you my big reflector if you like…
