I should take a leaf out of your book hun.. I met an English Greek about 3 weeks ago and he just keeps hounding me. Calling me up every day and talking to me for about 2 hours and then we meet up on weekends, he is just getting too much and I feel like I need to breath, I keep telling him but he does not seem to listen..

Catching you up so it would appear Grump!!

B x 8)

I guess I am some way from catching up with you Bubbles

..... or did you have your kids very young :?

When she was 8!!! 8)

Hey Niki, that's not so unlikely these days :?

I am so glad I am not a mother of a girl, since apparently, they are reaching puberty as young as 8

.... Do you think Bubbles was a trend setter ... :?

My 2 are still young at 14 and 12. One of the advantages of being in Cyprus, they don't grow up too quickly.

I have a crazy medic-friend who has kept her (now 11 year-old) daughter on a near-starvation diet for the last 6 years to delay the onset of puberty.....

Drastic measures for a few extra inches in height.

It may be that your friend is more concerned with the possibility of an encounter with a few extra inches of LENGTH !.

Sorry folks,I know it is crude humour, but if I didn't pick up on it, somebody else surely would have done so.

Tut tut tut Eliko. I thought that you would have replied on the lines of, 'delaying the approach of grandparenthood'.

Yeah, it’s all them spices in the Sieftalies… keeps them short and tubby!

It's the opposite with the 14 year old, too slim and me forever nagging her to eat more, although she does like sieftalies!!

The 12 year old does lots of sports so she's just right! 8)

At least you didn't call me 'old Grump'...

:) I am too polite. My parents taught me very good manners - something I pride myself on. :)

BTW, do not think of you as that old dear Grump!

On the contrary Phoenix, going by what you have said in your previous posts I believe that you have a few years on me yet!! :P

My kids, yes. Did I give them life though?
A poseur?

BTW Niki, yes I am a trend setter - to myself only! Never been a 'sheep', thankfully! A definite individual
