What do GC's and TC's really think of the British in 2008.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

let's face it...there isn't a nation in the world which is more double faced than the brits...no one "really" likes you,,,they just take your money and predent they do,,,, it's not as if the brits really like anyone anyway? everythign they do has to with their interests....they would never e.g kill someone to get them out the way themesleves,,they would like a snake use other people.....

we have a saying in the cyprus army...but i wont say it now,,,some other GC's prob know it,,,it's being said quite a few times over years and years ago,,,

other than that the brits are my mates..:) lol...

Each country is acting based on its own interests, or rather based on the interests of its ruling class. UK does the same.

After World War II the UN was establish to supposedly help to create a better world where the weak would not be screwed by the strong ones and create a more peaceful environment for the whole world. Unfortunately that was mostly theories.

Cypriots don't have a problem with the British people as a whole. Each person is judged individually for his own position. What we have a problem with is the actions of your government against our island. What we expect from the British people, especially those that come to Cyprus, is to recognize the problems that UK created to Cyprus and maybe help direct their government in a more friendly stance toward us.

Unfortunately many British people, instead of recognize the huge amount of responsibility that the UK has for the Cyprus problem, as well as the unfair presence of the bases in Cyprus, they defend the actions of their government against us, and more or less tell us that we have to choose between the bases and them coming to Cyprus as tourists.

And I ask you: The British go as tourists only where the UK maintains military bases? I don't think so. So how are the two related? If thats a thread, then the only reply to it is that you can shove your money in your ass, and that if we have to choose between having British involvement and bases, or no British at all in our island, then we definitely choose the second.

Britain was the force behind the Greeks during WW1 and the cause of the deaths of millions of Turks because of that cocksucker Turk hater Lloyd George who was basically using the Greeks like his little whore in order to establish his own nations interests, screw the Colonialist arseholes, they are the real cause behind most of the ongoing conflicts today. The true scum of the earth!

What you forgot is that in that war Turkey was on the side of Germany.
