Enosis & Taksim are both braindead ideologies in the same way that Communism & Nazism are.

Paul is dreaming of a TRNC/KKTC where he and I will sit down and have a nice long drink together.........

Zan,Cyprus will be better off as a Federal Republic of Cyprus with autonomous provinces with a central government in Nicosia. That will finally bury the Enosis & Taksim pipedreams.

Paaul12,that's a load of crap! It's more than a bit hypocritical to say 'Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus' & 'democratic' in the same sentence. The 'TRNC' is a wankocracy, nothing more, nothing less.

As for me being the dreamer in this thread, that's where you're wrong!

Zan,the political systems of both entities in Cyprus has a lot of faults.Had Cyprus stayed as a British colony, then there would have been no such thing as a 'TRNC' or an 'RoC',as there would have been a united Cyprus, albeit, one under British rule.

That wasn't going to happen mate....Believe me when I tell you that Cypriots on both sides do not like being ruled by anyone...Not even their own governments.....That does not mean that they know what they are doing, as history shows...
