How many of you are aware that the Cypriot flag was designed by a Turkish Cypriot? The Cypriot Coat-of-Arms was also designed by a Turkish Cypriot as well.

Both of these national symbols will one day become the symbols of a united Federal Republic of Cyprus.

Eracles,the symbolism is very neutral,as it is neither Greek nor Turkish,but uniquely Cypriot.Those who say that Cyprus needs a new flag needs to have their heads examined.

It now represents the "RoC" and not the Cyprus Republic as it was designed for....They have highjacked both and it leaves me cold to see it.......

Zan I dont support Paps. I personally dont like him. All I want is a solution so I can return to my fathers home in Varosha. I support a solution which makes both sides happy. Are you saying Denktash never plotted with the Turks. His radio announcement on the day of the invasion clearly points to him knowing it was coming. He wanted to be President so he set up his little militant wing to cause problems.

Yes Greece try to force cyprus into Enosis which my family were against as many other GC's. Even my TC's freinds agree that the fat bast@@d was plotting against his own country. Why the hell did so many TC's leave Cyprus once the Turks invaded because they didnt want to live under Turkish Occupation.
