The flag of the Republic of Cyprus.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The problem with that scenario is that it would likely be what the Turkish language currently is south of the Green Line: official only on paper, but practically ignored otherwise...

hmm..

Would it not be difficult to incorporate turkish into.. everything ?

Don't take this as cynical or anythin' ..

I would love to see Cyprus united.. but after such a length of time.. it saddens me to think how it could possibly be done :(

I have to agree with this comment. Cyprus' claims to embrace independence instead of Enosis is being made a mockery because of the use of the Greek National Anthem. The anthem itself is a very moving piece (though I don't think I would like to sing all 168 verses), but it really does not have a place in any country other than Greece.

I know I keep saying t but it seems that some on this forum have thick heads so here goes....(I don't mean you utu, it is just your post that works)

This does not stop at the national anthem.....

Supporting the "RoC" instead of the Cyprus Republic.

Greek flags

A Common defense policy with Greece

Taking the Turkish language out of system

Portraying the island as a Greek island..................................

Dean,we've got the idiots over here who are now demanding that all signs be bilingually inscribed in English & Maori, yet Maori isn't a commonly spoken language.Bilingual signs have now been put up in all the hospitals. It is just a way of keeping the Maori Nationalist subhumans happy.
