How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The great election scam has started.......

Postby zan » Wed Jan 30, 2008 11:30 am

As I predicted ladies and gentlemen, the great election scam has started. I must admit though that I did not see this one coming with him pulling a sicky!!! Which of you have now got doubts about voting for a frail and old man that cannot do his job and so another candidate will have to be thought about and then after the elections more delays......One more trick Popeadope and it's game over....You are not picking up n what the world is telling you.......

Tassos health rumours ‘immoral’
PRESIDENT Tassos Papadopoulos only has a cold but is otherwise in top physical condition, his campaign chief said yesterday.

George Lillikas was hitting back at rumours that the presidential candidate was suffering from something more serious than a virus that has afflicted a good portion of the island’s population in recent weeks.

“It is totally unacceptable, unethical and I would say immoral that rumours and untruths are being spread by other campaign offices. The president is completely healthy minus a cold the same as half of Cyprus,” Lillikas said.

As if to give weight to his campaign chief’s assertions, Papadopoulos appeared at a rally at Larnaca’s Palm Beach Hotel yesterday evening.

Initially there had been reports that the president had cancelled all public appearances after his doctor advised that he remain at home for two to three days after contracting a virus.

Meanwhile, refraining from specific comment on Lillikas’ criticisms, AKEL leader and presidential candidate Demetris Christofias said he had personally telephoned the president to wish him a speedy recovery.

“As an associate and friend of the President of the Republic for many years, when I heard that there was a problem with his health and he had not taken part in certain functions, my simple and natural reaction was to call the President of the Republic to enquire about his health and to give him my heartfelt wishes for a quick recovery,” Christofias said.

This is typical. If I had a £ for every sicky taken in Cyprus.
They only have to sneeze and they believe they are at deaths door.

Typical from Turkish and British scum to attack our president. No news here.

Papadopolous will be re-elected either you like it or not. And our president will do what WE want, not what you want.
