Reading about this chap who is thought to have fled to occupied Cyprus with the £32m proceeds of an alleged robbery in the UK, reminded me of another gentleman, a Mr Bazil Nadeer, who, some have said, fled justice in a matter regarding some mega multi-million pound embezzlement involving the firm Polly Peck some years ago. I gather he took up residence in Lapithos.

Haven't heard about this Nodear bloke for a very long time. Anyone know how he's getting on?

Phoenix , your remarks "Turkish shit " are extremely offensive not only to our T/C compatriots but to a great deal of G/Cs who feel the way I do about our compatriots. I think Bir and Kikapu would most certainly endorse my sentiments . I have stated many many times before that the way forward is mutual respect , forget the nasty events of the past and concentrate on the future for the sake of our generations of Cypriots to come.
I'm certain that you would like your son to grow up and live in a Cyprus free from the anguish of anticipated conflict just as all Cypriot mothers would , and fathers too. For all those that missed my post many montths ago I state again that in my family we have amongs us a Turkish Cypriot , married to an English lady , sistrer of my brother's wife. So two English sisters each married a Cypriot , one G/C and one T/C .The T/C has 3 lovely children , first cousins to my nieces and nephiews , half T/Cs and half English , tell me Phoenix am I right to feel offended by your remarks ? Before any one even thinks of calling me names I state here again my allegiance lies with Cyprus and its people T/Cs and G/Cs and Armenians and ENGLISH TOO , soon to become a very respectable minority.

In which case you are coming round to realising that TCs that have betrayed Cyprus are the same as the Turkish scum that are holding our country to ransom for whatever purpose they see fit ....

Do also try to bear in mind that the scum that caused the present "anomaly " were mostly G/C fanatics encouraged along by the scumbags who called themselves the government of Greece , the idiots whose brains were hidden deep inside their " Ellas Ellinon Xristianon "
holy arseholes who couldn't see that by orchestrating the coup against a legally elected government would entice the big gorilla to take action. We became the victims so that the cowards would gain their freedom . Turkey was given what it wanted all along , a perfect excuse to invade !
Now we have a foreign power with thousands of troops on our soil , and you know what ? I am sorry to hear that Naddeer has been made destitute and is presumably living off hand-outs and sleeping rough somewhere in the occupied districts.
