I often read your posts in silence and bewilderment. But as I am a true believer in free speech, freedom of thought etc I do not attack your thoughts on the Cyprus issue. I like to believe that you have genuine concerns for the whole of the people of Cyprus. I too join you in those concerns.

Our friend Halil has hopes too for the future of Cyprus and I sincerely hope that you are not trying to 'patronise' his contributions on this forum. Personally I find Halils contributions, personal or 'quotes' very informative and useful. He postes from a wider spectrum than most forumers.

Rightly or wrongly he, Halil , like most of us live in 'hope'. Whereever we see an opportunity we will grab it. Whether at the end, we are disappointed, whats new. We have lived through a lot of disappointments and this strengthens our resolve. We will make mistakes and we will learn from them. Some of the points you make regarding the legality of issues (a la Piratis) does make sense, but sometimes you have to bear in mind and have respect for the opinions wishes of the majority of TCs.

Well, it will be interesting to say the least as to what benefits this 'personage' will bring to the North.

Wrong topic but what is your opinion of the 'MADAM YAYGARACI' The FOUNAKLAS'?

Merhaba back to you Deniz,

I have never told Halil not to post anything, good or bad. It just so happens, he only posts what he deems to be "TRNC" favouring articles. That's fine, and I have never asked him to stop it, but at the same time, I take some issues with what is written in those articles, so I express them. In return, I get accused of putting the TC's down. Well, that's not true, because I put the "TRNC's" politicians and policies down and some of their immature tactics of power play when they should be making proposals to the RoC to get things sorted out, and of course, the same goes to the RoC. It is mostly Zan and Halil that posts a lot of copy paste articles and no one else to that degree, so naturally, I end up taking more issues with their posts than others.

I have come to a conclusion Deniz, that it is no longer about "hope" to see a peaceful island. It has become more of a "we got what we want, now deal with it". This is the kind of attitude I see from both sides, so I vent my concerns to people who are in control of the rest of the TC's. I cannot respect these politicians, when I know that they are not sincere in a fair negotiations. So I throw punches at them. Those who support these corrupted politician then take offence to what I write, personal. The need to chill out and see that I do not accuse TC's themselves, but the "corrupt society" they have been put into by their leaders. I have no respect for those who have no intentions of a peaceful and fair settlement, because without a peaceful and fair settlement, we will have more problems down the road. It is easy to hide behind the Turkish Army and give the finger to the other side, but in my book, that is no way to live or run a country. That is how things are done in other piss pot 3rd world countries. I want something much better than that for our island.

As a Cypriot citizen, I have every right to accuse and throw punches to whomever I want. Living in a free and democratic society can do that to a person. It is high time, that others caught up with the times, as you we have Deniz. Without freedom of speech, we all become slaves to tyrants. I can't tell you how much it saddened me yesterday, to hear from our good friend Shahmaran, how they have to be careful how they express their feelings in the "TRNC" , tin order for them to write it down, after I compained about why more TC's are not complaining on certain issues. To me, this is the ultimate "bondage" of one's freedom to life and freedom to expression to ones thoughts. Sadly, some TC members on this forum do not see that as being a problem. I tell them otherwise, and I do.

As for your other comment, regarding "'MADAM YAYGARACI' The FOUNAKLAS", I have kept well clear of those topics. They are not helpful and it only serves the best interest of the Radicals and Fascist. I have no interest adding more fuel to what seems to be an already explosive situation.

But thank you for hanging in there for all of us Deniz, to make her see reason, because she listens to you

We all really appreciate it.!

We also have every right to accuse and throw punches to all of you Kikapu. We the TC's are the more suffering in this island not Turkey , Greece or GC's mate. Speacialy the man like you lives at outside the Cyprus has got nothing to say and comment about us. and try to spread around your one sided ideas.

İf you were honest with your thoughts you should also shutdown the madam Yaygaracı mouth as well. Keep silence mate. They suit you . That's why division thoughts are increasing in the island .Too many of them in South mate.
But thank you for hanging in there for all of us Deniz, to make her see reason, because she listens to you

Thank you for your kind response Kikapu.

You say:
"some of their immature tactics of power play when they should be making proposals etc.". I have always argued that either side has been using the same tactics. Yet we never see you 'pointing out the errors of their ways'. You do come across as an intelligent person with a great love for Cyprus as we all do, but dont you see that their real aim (the GCs) is to split the island too. Tpapa is not living your dream of a united island. What you see is all whitewash, for public consumption and 'Lip-service ' to the EU. Mine, yours and a few GCs dream of a 'United Island is no more'. What what you call 'partitioists' want is what most GC politicians and GCs want. What do you say to my observation?

You have got that wrong Kikapu, Yaygaraci only listens to the 'Puppet Master'.

Deniz,

It is always easier to talk about my side (TC's) than the other side (GC's). In an ideal world as one nation and as a Cypriot, I would be talking to both sides, which in actuality, will only be just ONE side, since we would all be Cypriots. I know my side better than the other side, so it is more useful if my side hears my complaints from their own kind, so that it is not seen as "sour grapes" coming from the other side. It is just like Black youth call each other "nigger" in the States, and it is accepted by them, but if a white person should call a black person a "nigger", all hell will break lose. I hope I got my point across. The only problem is, those people on my side who do not like what I have to say, are getting annoyed, as to how dare I criticize our own. If we can't criticize our own, then we do not have the right to criticize the other side. But you are saying to me, "that's fine Kikapu, go ahead and criticize our side, but also be sure to criticize the other side also, so that it's even". On the surface you make a good point Deniz, but in practice if I did that, what will it change to what my side is doing. I still have to deal with that, and now you want me to double my workload, so that I'm weighed down by shit from both sides, as well as get hit from both sides. No thanks, I'll let Bananiot take half the load, when ever he can. I'm sure Miltiades will also help as well as one or two others.

In all honesty, if you are correct to believe, that both sides want a partition, then they should do it 80%-20% as per population size in 1960 and make a clean break. I can live with that, and almost everybody will be happy. Total separation. We can decide if we want to put a wall between us also. We can always hold a referendum from both sides.

Thanks for the reply Kikapu. You seem confused as well re: the two sides , and then only 'one side' then the two sides again. I do get the gist of your message.

Leaving the 'legalities ou how do you see the genuine policies of the two leaderships. Do you have faith in either. I know you have not in the Northern leadeship, but what about the real aims of the RoC leadership. Do you think they are sincere?
