You should try Basque Gateaux, Not the kinky underwear mind you !!!
A delicious concoction of feather light pastry filled with a delectable almond sponge , served with whipped cream and creme anglais. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!

Sorry Bubbles .

As I explained to Zan I was foolishly on a roll and thought why not go for game, set and match.

Bet it made you smile though :wink:

Just put it down to my age ~~ mental not physical :roll:

Full fat naturally , this is France. Incidentally I had a 5 course meal at an auberge yesterday we were charged on 15 euros per head including unlimited wine.

Nice one, !!! I haven't a clue, I only know the name. and the reputation.

I am a girl by the way, my poor innocent hubbie was propositioned by one and had not got a clue, he thought she was just being friendly. I was standing behind him with some friends ( this was in a hotel bar) we were creasing ourselves laughing at him. When our friends explained his face was a picture.

Seriously though folks,

I find it very sad that the Cyprus that I once found such a delight, has become tired and lacklustre. Where did it all go wrong ?
