The Turkish Cypriot Flag

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I applauad your grasp of the English language and your penchant for show boating, however I despair at your level of hatred and lack of compassion.

I, as a Cypriot, have no affiliation with the flag of the so called "RoC" who claims to own the island when they clearly don't, in fact the reality is that they own this entire island as much as the Greeks own Istanbul, and that is the bottom line.

The people of Cyprus OWN Cyprus , not the 40 thousand foreign troops or the 70 or so thousand Anatolians. Since you say you are a Cypriot , just like I , then denounce the occupying army .As for your comments on the "so called "ROC" , this so called Republic happens to be recognised the world over , does not have a foreign army on its soil occupying and dictating and it just happens to also be a member of the EU. So called my arse mate .

On the other hand Piratis, the "RoC" hass violated our human rights too, it makes no difference what everyone else thinks about you or your flag, we all know what happened here, as much as you personally like to be in denial about all of it, you are a serious minority.

Yes shahmaran, we all know very well what happened and that you are looking in tiny selective parts of the past to find excuses. You are the one in denial my friend, not me.

Whatever Piratis don't you "we all know" me, YOU are ALONE my friend, point me to one more person in this forum (other then that Phoenix comedian) who is "on your side" that connects the happenings of 500 years ago to the matters of today, this is most ridiculous and absurd.

You blame me for only looking at certain parts of history while you yourself stop and start history at where ever is handy to you, throw in a few seriously unfounded claims about "indigenousness" and there you go, we have have an extremist Piratis logic which suggests that the sole "rightful" owners of Cyprus are Greeks.

It is very simple indeed and the fact that it is ALL you relentlessly repeat is even more proof that you are stuck in a nutshell. The only logical reasoning i can bring to this idiocy is the fact that you might have passed your "use by date" and stopped making sense long time ago.

Repetition is a serious sign of old age Piratis, maybe its time you retire from this subject

Wasn't exactly my main point but whatever, thanks for trying.

On the contrary you are the one who starts and stops history however it suits you. You start history in 63 and you finish it in 74. And what is even more amazing, even during that tiny period you still choose to ignore your own crimes.

I am not talking about 500 years ago (there were not Turks in Cyprus then). I am talking about today. You are the one who is looking in tiny parts of history trying to find lame excuses, but when the rest of history, before, during and after the only decade you remember, is reminded to you, you don't like it.

Piratis, it is you who constantly reminds us that we have been "torturing" you since the arrival of the Ottomans which supposedly justifies the way you have treated us in the last 50 years, what the hell are you talking about?

The only reason i start at 63 is, because as far as i can tell, this very conflict we are living at the moment started around that era. Nevermind the Ottomans.

However you seem to be determined to convince everyone (with no absolute proof what so ever) that the conflict had started with our arrival while portraying yourself as the "indigenous" owners of the island.
