What will happen to the wildlife of the Akamas? Hey we have done the same in the UK and ruined 67% of our countryside.

I enquired about this some time ago and the putative route should not go anywhere near the Akamas ... although it will naturally affect quite a lot of unspoilt countryside.

The influx of visitors this will allow means the Polis to Pomos area will no longer be the quiet retreat that makes it so special. So for the sake of young couples trying to buy in the area, I hope it backfires and does not push up prices in what is already the most expensive part of the island.

Again, we really need to re-unify the island and diffuse the overcrowding that the GCs are having to unnecessarily put up with in their own country just because bloody Turkey cannot be bothered to improve its vast country for its own people and has to keep invading neighbours.

What exactly do you base this statement on? You really should give it a rest and get a life. Festering so much hatred will ruin your health, Beware!!!

Never been to Polis, what's it like?

Pretty much unspoilt right now but things won't be the same after they build the motorway. Latsi has a nice beach. Polis used to be an old gold mining town. It's worth a visit.

I might go, who knows I might like it.

But ye, I would be interested to know what people do there, how is industry in Polis. Where do it's citizens work?
