agree with sotos, too many horror stories about human trafficing and women being tricked into prostitution.. Think Admin should edit this previous post to protect this girl. Maybe she doesn't know about the cabaret lifestyle here. Be careful who you speak with and what kind of jobs you accept. Please be very careful

I sent her a PM as soon as I had read her post. I hope she understands and takes notice. Would hate for her to get mixed up with the 'wrong crowd' - or am I just being too cynical?

No not at all Bubbles, I think a lot of these girls who come over are young and don't really know any better.. then once they're here they get stuck in with the "wrong crowd" and can't get out... Passports taken away from them so literally.. can't get out. I hope this young lady finds real work here and stays safe. Such a pretty girl, shame to go down the wrong road.

You are are right about the "wrong crowd". But let me tell you somehting. Cyprus is not the only country that has "wrong crowd" and those girls that end up doing what we are talking about here were involved with "wrong crowds" back in their countries as well. They might be young but they are already part of the wrong crowds and who is responsible for this is their families or the societies they grew up. The "passport taken away" is just the excuse some of them give to deny their share of blame in what they have been doing! If you are a decent person the worst thing that can happen to you is not to get what you were promised and to waste your time and money. But nobody can force you to do somehting you don't want to do!
