Hermes Airport Info

Postby Sega » Mon Jan 28, 2008 2:31 pm

I need some information on the company Hermes, so far I have established that it is a French company and the Cypriot local partner is Shacolas (the guy who built the mall, not him personally, you know what I mean). I searched on Wikipedia and the only thing it returned was a company that specialises in fashion, grooovy for it's fashion followers, but not so groovy for me. :-(

Can anybody you knows more about this company help me out, not the fashion company, but the airport one (unless of course they are one of the same).

The only thing I can tell you is that I went to Pafos airport last night to collect Mrs. Cyprusgrump and they’ve managed to turn a perfectly functional airport into a chaotic shite-hole. :-(

That might be true, but I can't really say that to them.

Online information on them is rare.

Hermes is Shakolas's company but the main shareholder is the french company Bouygues.
They are the company building the airports and in return they will profit from the first 20 years or so of Hermes running the airports. After that they (the airports) will belong to the government.

p.s. Thats all I know but im not 100% on it

Emm... well even that helps. :-) I checked the Bouygues website, it seemed odd, was more into investing than anything else.

that's correct raiseurfist - its the construction arm of Bouygues who are doing the airport as you say.
