What is the difference between your hatred for Turks and the Nazi's hatred of Jews?

Maybe the truth hurts,or we have got to the real side of Piratis.Who wants the bases out ? give me some figures.My friends don't want them out,they are Cypriot.Why when somebody asks a question do we have to name call and be abusive,I have never shown anything but respect to Cypriots wether Greek or Turkish,if you want the British out you have a vote,a government a people.Do what other countries have done,demonstrate,blockade, stop supplying,but you must have a majority to achieve this.

The great majority of Cypriots want the bases out. If we had a vote, would you respect it? Because in our history you have never respected the democratic wishes of the Cypriot people.

Were are you going to get more tourists from ? nobody else comes to Cyprus,even the Russians are now moving to Eygpt and alike.I am afraid you are stuck with some of the people you despise,not the government types who shout politics but the hard working Brits who have 2 weeks a year and come to Cyprus because they believe the Cypriots enjoy their company.

Really? Before you told us that the British come to Cyprus because they more or less think that Cypriots are their slaves, and if the bases where not here they wouldn't come. Now you tell me that they come because they enjoy the company of Cypriots? Which one is it?

I would but I am not the Goverment,you cannot blame a people because of a Government stance.Of couse the British feel safe because of the bases.Many thousands of Cypriots also have UK passports and regard the bases as a safe haven.
I honestly think you would loose tourists,I know now the tourist industry is suffering and it will get worse.If you read my posts I am no colonialist,my family live in Cyprus have businesses but we regard ourselves as guests and act accordingly.There are some British who do not show the same respect but I cannot control this.
Of course we hear desent (we speak Greek) in the streets and on TV,and that does make us feel uneasy from time to time,but you cannot and should not label us all the same because we are British.
It would be nice if you would answer my question, and maybe refer to some good things that the UK has done for Cyprus.....
Were do you get slaves from ? nobody I know treats Cypriots as slaves..

YEH! One that has a belly full of English marbles and no gratitude. Whilst your well off family were paying for a good education for you, which has gone to waste, the rest of your representatives were stealing from the wealthfare system and peoples cars to pay for heir drink and drugs problems....You are so insular.....Expand your mind....Get some drugs from your fellow Cypriots........
