Hi guys i visited Protaras about 8 years ago and stayed in Penera area, it was fantastic, there was a bar there i carnt remember the name it was owned by an english couple and they did all the entertainment singing, guitar playing it was quite an open place with large window openings but no windows there i know i'm a bit vague but does anyone know if it is still there, it was just past a little park

Pernera has changed enormously over the last 8 years. Where there were once fields of water melons, potatoes and peppers all you can see now are estates full of unoccupied villas. It hasn't spoilt the atmosphere of the place but its not as pretty. I'm trying to think where you mean but the only place I can think of is the Barley Bow opposite The Livas Apartments and just up from the seafront.
