Hey guys,
So got back to Cy yesterday and this week want to up the internet

Does Cy provide ADSL2?
What are the ISP's? Can I have phone No. and webpage maybe

Basically what I want:
Minimum of 1.5Mb connection (Preferably higher, I've been using 6.5Mb :()
Unlimited downloads/uploads/time
Maybe some options to have extra TV channels

I don't understand why there are 3 bills?
Fair enough phone line rental, and the ISP charge for the connection but what is the 3rd bill?

1. You pay a landline subscription (to Cyta)
2. You pay for the I-Choice platform (to Cytanet)
3. You pay for an ISP (If you have any sense, not to Cytanet!)

or, you can use cable if you're in a cabled area.

I live in Engomi, I assume it's a cabled area?

Cyprus is soooooooooooooooooo backwards with technology :(

I'll be calling ISP's etc today/tomorrow and I'll post up my findings and recommendations

What can I say, I am grateful at least I can have a 1.5 mb/s connection.

i had 20mbit virgin media when i was on holiday but such a connection in cy,, even the 4meg is 95 a month and cable modem 10meg is 200 per month... cytanet said something about 2mg ages ago what ever happened with that? nothing so far when are they actually going to offer this 2meg

http://www.cytanet.com.cy/Services/conn ... R_Business have some nice connections but bit expenssive the 1mbit with a 512kb upload looks just about affordable though..
