HMMmmmm, I am very curious how you know that. I have a house on the mountain top in Skarinou in a complex of 10 houses and at least 4 of the 10 houses are owned by BA Pilots.
@ Nikitas.
What makes you think its economy has turned to tourism? Yes there is a toursim aspect but it is in no way "it's economy"!! In fact I can't think of anything about it other than a donkey farm that is touristic. The agrotourism I mentioned is probably 3-5 houses in the whole village. I know the majority of the inhabitants there and those that actually work in the village are running clothes shops, schools, cafe's etc. Its a sleepy village but thats mainly because there are so many retired couples there. I live and work in Central London and for me theres no better escape than such a place.
