Your ex EOKA member, Turk and everything Turkish hating president will be the downfall of the RoC. Reelection will definitely be the final nail in the coffin. Welcome official partition. 2008, the year of the TCs.

Long live the TRNC. God give strength to the Turkish military.

By the Chinese Calendar 2008 is the year of the Rat. Is this where you base your optimism?

hahahahah funny:) thought it was the year of the dog,,,when is that? lol haha

Good that you admit that VP. Because we all know that the division is solely a result of you wanting it and having the power to illegally enforce it, and does not depend on the president of Cyprus.

We have changed 5 presidents since 1974 but during the last years you made the ridiculous claim that Papadopoulos was supposedly the obstacle for unification.

Well, at least now you admitted that who we elect is irrelevant in this respect since under the current balance of power a unification is impossible, and the choice is between the current status quo kind of division, and an official kind of partition of the kind of Annan plan.

So yes, the division will continue for the foreseeable future, but since we will elect Papadodopoulos you can forget about the official kind of division that you dream about.

The standard twisting and squirming exhibited by GCs, no matter who you choose they are all shit and have no vision or need for a solution, their main aim is land, to take control for the whole island and dominate the TCs by reducing them to just another minority with no community rights to protect them against GC manipulation and exploitation. The we are all Cypriots and should have the same rights crap that has been spewed out by certain individuals on this forum is another method of saying we out number you so shut the fuck up and accept being a minority under GC rule, never never never, the TRNC is 1000 times better option than solely allowing GCs to decide my future.

The last 5 years it was Tpaps fault...VP was screaming can't be trusted, too much blood on his hands...elect someone else...

Now into election mode with a chance of getting someone else elected...VP's propaganda goes into overtime with it doesn't matter who you vote...

He is starting to prepare the ground with a pre emptive strike...you are so bloody transparent you damn settler...

There doesn't seem to be anything different coming out of any of their mouths Boomers. he last time I heard, they all said that nothing will change.....What are we supposed to say to that???

Maybe they are willing to talk more...but to judge a book by its cover and screaming and jumpling up down the last 5 years... shouting vote someone else if you want a solution...and when the time comes, the attitude is we don't care they are all the same...it stinks...you know it and I know it...

Even Mr_fro-MG is saying if you vote Tpaps, it means partition...you even said it yourself...now as the time gets closer you change your tune...

You find this behaviour rational?...why judge a book by its cover?...Don't worry the Turkish papers are saying the same thing...

Now where the...it doesn't matter who gets elected came from?...

PS...please google and tell me what they said?

I haven't got time this morning to google Boomers but we discussed it a little while ago. I understand that there is a matter of political maneuvering in this but they all basically came out and said that there will be no change from the current stand on the Cyprob. That is when VP and the rest of us lost faith in anything positive ever coming out of the "RoC". I am still hoping that Bananiot is right and that things will change but the words of the politicians do not match. Add that to the fact that I believe that Tpap has already made plans to screw things up and hope lies eternal, with the later being the operative word.

I also heard something yesterday, that I will not repeat until I have more confirmation, that it has already been decided..........I can't help but have my doubts as to the intention behind it though because I really really do not trust Tpap and his ability to let go his dream of the Akritas Plan and what he really stands for.......I really am trying but everything he does just confirms my suspicions.

Maybe they should vote for Talat then...coz who ever they are gonna vote, will not make any difference to you...

Why you think "turkey" is hoping for another candidate than Tpaps?...
1...they want to negotiate...EU comes to mind Zan..."turkey" believe it or not wants to get in the EU for one reason or another...
2...they do not want to partition you, either they can't or doesn't suit them...

And this is what is constantly in the turkish press...google this as well when you have time...

You hit the nail on the head boomerang.

The division exists because thats what Turks wanted since the 50s and thats what they want now, and they have the power to illegally enforce it.

Beyond this everything is their lame excuses. Papadopolos has just been one of their latest lame excuses.

What is the funny thing is that a few naive GCs fall in their trap and believe them so they would vote for somebody else that TCs can supposedly like. They don't realize that the only GCs that TCs can like are those that are willing to accept an official partition and the results of their criminal invasion and occupation.

Did any "president" of the so-called "RoC" since Makarios and including TPapadope want less than what Makarios or TPapadope wants? Why should the next one whoever it is be any different to all the ones before him?

Nothing will ever change in the South and with every new "president" the GCs elect they will hammer another nail in the unification coffin.

TPapadope will win this election because the majority of GCs want the same as he does but so does any other GC candidate so it really makes no difference who wins, at all.

Boomers...Please try to understand what I am saying....I and everyone else will welcome debate that will take us forward. That is not what is coming out of this election. They are saying, en mass, that there will be no policy change...As I said , this might just be a vote winner thing but what are we to say.
