I agree and that is what I would normally resort to ..... but I am a little uncomfortably top heavy at the moment and I need to lose about 3 kilos to jog comfortably (it's a female thing  ).

Get it..(wo)man 8)

I got seriously obsessed with jogging a few years back, when I was a lot lighter.
I had to run for 2 hours a day to feel normal.
But there is no risk of getting obsessive at the moment.

Do you jog / run?

So you managed to put loads of weight on.....after 2 weeks!!!!

That's good going!!! Don't stress though, there's more important things in life!!!

I bought a cross trainer, tummy crunch thingy and weights and I have used them although not for a couple of weeks now as a nasty virus has hit the family.

I worked out twice a week without fail for over 8 years in the UK but you know there just seems to be better things to do with your time in Cyprus. (sigh!!)

Jogging??? I would lose the will to live!! :(

There's no hope for us Phoenix!! We'll have to get fat together! (fancy meeting up for a 600 calorie coffee?)

Niki love the milky chocolaty sugary coffees etc etc (Loukoumia availability has not helped either).

Need to spend a little more time expending energy exercising muscles other than jaw

So from where did you purchase your gym equipment?

I am hoping someone would tell me of an outlet (similar to "John Lewis" department stores) which stocks home equipment you can take away or have delivered.

But no on has come forth yet ....

Phoenix, do you not have a 'Carrefour' or 'Orphanides' store in your vicinity?, if you do, it might be worth while enquiring of them since I know for certain that those in the Larnaca area do have some equipment.

Whether or not they have exactly what you require is unknown to me BUT, I am sure they will be able to assist with your enquiry.

Good hunting and good luck.

I re-started yesterday (haha), went again today...hoping to go again tomorrow etc
of course it was to lose some fatties a smost of women :)
But after, I agree with you..I was not obsessive,..but I liked it..so much !
U clean your mind, relax the body ( I do, after the office), do something to keep fit and healthy...and the endorphine feeling !
Wow ! Natural drug ! and I'm not joking. I felt better than drinkin' all the night...and without the hangover.
Well hope I'll keep jogging again until ...the moment when will be so hot, than even breathing makes u tired 8)

Well ..... it's not just about kilos, but feeling healthy and being in control.

Let's say I would like to lose 5Kg .... but I am within normal guidelines now, and even if I lose 5 Kg, so nothing unnatural there.

Why, do you have some tips or advice?

I am more interested in getting back into a routine of doing an hour or so of intensive exercise really.
