Simple question.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Simple question.

Turkish Cypriots:
What do you wish to be known as ? Cypriots or Turkish Cypriots.
No offence meant in asking the question.

You forgot Turk.

Also you have pre-empted by asking "Turkish Cypriots" what they would like to be called . . . . so you are limiting your request to those who already consider themselves "Turkish Cypriots".

You need to broaden your poll-audience by finding a non-loaded label ....

You miss the point of polling without loading / suggesting a biased viewpoint.

You are already suggesting those called "Turkish Cypriot" are friends so you are going to scare anyone off who may genuinely want to be called something else.

Why ask the question if you already have the answer?

..... and my request for gym - equipment is to avoid the flab before it sets in (although I notice yours has reached your brain already and hence too late for you  ).

Purdey

I wish this "Cypriot" thing was not used in a Political Sense but it is. The GC's are using the we are all "Cypriot" thing to keep us from our political rights we had in the original pre 1963 RoC.

I don't mind being called Turkish, Cypriot or Turkish Cypriot. It's not really an important thing though is it? :?

Greek Cypriots or if somebody does not know where Cyprus is, just Greek.

The RoC recognise the TC and have reserved all the property and land in the event of them returning. Cyprus belongs to both GC and TC. The government understand this, my uncle is taking care of a Turkish house. They told him once the Turk comes back he will have to leave, he said okay :-). As for all land and property belonging to TC, you cannot effectively get a title deed on a property belonging to a Turk-Cypriot until he sells it.
