Marcos Baghdatis racist chants from the Hellas Fan Club "Baghdatis barbeque 2007" have highlighted his membership of a right wing Racist "Club" of Greek Australian thugs known as the HFC or Hellas Fan Club

These known hooligans are banned from even the proudly "Greek Australian" soccer club South Melbourne FC and have been described to the media by upstanding members of the Australian Greek Community as nothing more than "common hooligans" and "Serial Pests" intent on causing disruption, inciting ethnic, racial & religious hatred and USING the media spotlight at sporting events as a soap-box for airing their far-right extremist political views

In the controversial video clips, some of which are published here, Greek Cypriot Tennis pro Baghdatis screams "TURKS OUT OF CYPRUS - TURKS OUT OF CYPRUS" a deeply provocative and racially offensive provocation of the indigenous "Turkish Cypriot" population native to Cyprus

In this footage from the HFC Baghdatis barbeque in 2007, Marcos Baghdatis, an Ambassador for his nation, for his sport and supposedly a role model for aspiring young atheletes joins in the thugs chorus of "GREECE CYPRUS ANNEXATION" ( "Hellas - Kypros ENOSIS" ) a deeply upsetting chant that recalls events of 1962 - 1974 when Junta Generals from Mainland Greece and Greek Cypriot terrorist Group EOKA tried to Ethnically cleanse Cyprus of its indigenous Muslim "Turkish Cypriot" population and ANNEXE it as a part of Greece

The footage also shows Marcos Baghdatis joining in with some deeply racist sentiments about Macedonians and the "Republic of Macedonia" where they claim That Macedonia is ONLY GREEK and racially slur people from the FYROM Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia with racist names Like "Skops" & Skopjianoi

Baghdatis is clearly seen chanting the Greek racial supremacists mantra "You will never be Greeks Skopjianoi - Skopjianoi"

We have other clips of him ranting "Tourkos Kalos Mono Necros" ("The Only Good Turk is a DEAD Turk") meaning a number of criminal offenses has been commited under Australian law, not least, Racial vilification andIncitement to Racial Hatred

Chris Vlahogiannis self styled president of the HFC has known overt affilliations with Neo Nazi Groups in Greece like GOLDEN DAWN aka Hrysi Avgi

At the 2008 Australian Open some troublesome members of the Hellas Fan Club were sprayed with Capsicum Spray ( Maced ) when they squared up to Melbourne police officers and refused to comply with police requests to leave the arena

After josting, verbally abusing and pushing police officers, spitting at police and throwing punches at them, maced HFC Melbourne thugs now cry about being "Assaulted" and are threatening to sue Victoria Police for damages

At previous Australian opens the proudly Racist thugs of the HFC have erected criminally racist banners that incite racial hatred towards Turks, Albanians, Bulgarians, Macedonians, Muslims and Turkish Cypriots with racially inflamatory slogans like "The Only Good Turk Is a DEAD Turk" and "Constantinople is GREEK Macedonia is only GREEK Cyprus is only GREEK" etc

These banners were discretely confiscated after complaints from Turkish Cypriots who can also read and understand the Greek language, Baghdatis said nothing about the banners presence in 2007 and seemed upset when they were taken away by the authorities

The main Greek neo-nazi organisation is Chrysi Avgi or Golden Dawn. it advocates open national socialism, virulent racism and murderous antisemitism. Hitler, the Third Reich, Rudolf Hess, the Waffen SS and the swastika are Golden Dawn's idols and emblems of choice and appear repeatedly in its publications. When the organisation organises public events, however, it prefers only to dress itself up as "nationalist" and "patriotic".

No T_C, "Turks out of Cyprus" doesn't mean just the Turkish army. It also means the 10s of thousands of Turkish Settlers.

What is wrong and racist is exactly that those Turks are in Cyprus occupying our land and our homes. They ethnically cleansed the great majority of Cypriots from their homeland, they replaced them with Turks so they could create some Turkish state on our land, and after all these racist and criminal actions you find something wrong when a Cypriot says "Turks out of Cyprus"???

And yes, that is exactly in accordance with UN resolutions and international law. We have every right to demonstrate against the illegalities that are enforced against us.

The Turks created all this story about Marcos simply because they envy the Greek and Cypriot sporting achievements of the last few years and they hate it when Cyprus is represented in such high profile sporting events.

There are some fine keyboard warriors on this site who shout hate on a daily basis,if there is such support and hate surely they would be shouting about it in the North.
I fear the business men of southern Cyprus are content with their lot,recovering Northern Cyprus would involve too much competition to their large bank balances.
Maybe I am been misled by a Cypriot teacher who also has mixed feelings on the subject,so much so the Cyprus problem is barely touched on in schools.

How on earth is yelling turks out of Cyprus can be considered hate or racism...How about the people that were ethnically cleansed to this very dayshould feel...You saying they have no right ion voicing thier disgust?
