Here we are not talking about an event that happened in the past. Turkey is today illegaly occupying 1/3rd of our country. They should respect international law and the sovergnity of our country, and if they stop acting hostile against Cyprus then I am sure after a few decades the relationship between Cyprus and Turkey will be normalized.

Turkey is not the only invader of Cyprus. We had many of them in the past, and with those that no longer occupy any part of our island we have very good relations today.

We are not the ones who choose enmity and hate. The Turks are the ones who occupy our country and violate our rights. So get your facts straight. We never went out of our island to harm anybody. All conflicts in Cyprus where created by others invading our island and trying to impose their rule on us.

Cypriots have always fought only for their rights and their freedom on their own island. Turkey is the one who invaded our island, not us that invaded Turkey.
