Gaza Strip — Gaza City is plunged into darkness at this moment after Israel blocked the shipment of fuel that powers its only electrical plant....


Darkness descended on Gaza as the second of the plant's two working turbines was switched off on the third day of a crippling Israeli blockade of the territory...


This closure is going to have very serious consequences for residents, but also for the operation of hospitals and water treatment plants...


The worst affected could be the health sector, with hospitals failing to provide services in the absence of electricity.....


These patients and these children are facing their destiny and they will die soon...


Depriving people of such basics as water is tantamount to depriving them of human dignity....


It is difficult to understand the logic of making hundreds of thousands of people suffer quite needlessly....


There is no electricity, no cooking gas. There aren't even any candles because of the blockade and there is no wood to cook food for the children....


Bakeries stopped operating because they had neither power nor flour....


It also means no fuel for the generators that fuel the water pumps - a lot of the water in Gaza is deep beneath the surface, and it has to be pumped to the surface - so no fuel can also mean no water.....


Gaza homes 1.5 million people on the brink of a humanitarian crisis.....


The electricity for babies in the maternity ward ,heart surgery patients has all stopped to lack of electricity!!!


What sort of humanitarian law is this? that makes the Innocent suffer ????!!!!!


Killing an Occupying Israeli Soldier is a crime that will never ever be forgiven.....


But killing thousands of Innocent Palestinians is matter that might be looked upon....


Please Pray for the Palestinians in Gaza, for many of them are going to sleep tonight in fear, hunger, illness & darkness &some might not even live to see tomorrow....

5 hospital patients have Already died!!

Bakeries are forced to stop making bread by tomorrow....


Basically the Ghost of death is rotating around the people of Gaza....


And what is theWORLD doing to this LOAD Insult to the human dignity?!!!!

For we see them Run Extra fast to implement the long list of Sanctions against any Islamic , Arab or any poor third world country...


But some how they become Inactive or better to say Invisible when the matter urgently concerns the Basic& Simple Right of a person to live like a normal human being !!!

Deniz, it is very sad that in this day and age we hear of such happenings. If only there was oil involved, all these do-gooders would be out there to help the poor defensless Palestinians.
