Data is expensive on a satellite link... we offer a two-way connection where no other service is available...

The company that we represent (Hughes) has just won the contract in the UK for 27,000 lottery terminals - the service was faster and more reliable than every other supplier in the UK including BT, etc.

gordonmaria's service from DDS is not satellite it uses a wide area wireless connection linked to a leased line.

If you want a real big laugh then look at the Cytanet web hosting prices. I mean really, it's totally funny. Just check out the price of the *massive* 200mb site. You can even *pay* for 1mb if you so wish (ie. gone completely insane).
