This thread is to be used for the preparation of the third part of the documentary, concerning the bicommunal administration of 1960-63.

I think this period, 1960 to 1963, is probably the most interesting of the Cyprus Problem, in that it was the one and only period, ever, when GCs and TCs sovereignly co-managed their affairs. This period has been overshadowed by the events of 63/64, as if the previous years were nothing more than the run-up to division. And yet I am sure, many positive experiences were also registered in those years of co-existence, and our documentary should strive to bring these experiences to light.

My parents and my grand parents were driven from their homes as early as 1962-3 when the Turks begun attacking Greeks in the old parts of Nicosia (Taxtakallas). They have not been regognised as refugees and they have never received anything in return for their struggles and losses!
