Most Cypriot firms are family owned and operated so you may find it difficult to get a good job.

Why not have a look at the French company building the new Paphos and Larnaca Airports, a friend of mine works for them, earns good money and enjoys the benefits of a large European employer.

I have a friend in Bouygues too

Cyprus offers unlimited fun for outdoor types. But before long you my find yourself wanting more toys to enjoy even more of the great outdoors and socialising potential.

As a labourer I guess you are going to have to bite your lip and watch others having fun with expensive toys, unless you become truly entrepreneurial.

For crying out loud this country is only for people with BALLS, you've had some good advice. If you need someone to hold your hand; stay in England.

Cyprusgrump dear . . . . . you are becoming less of a "grump" and more and more desirable, sweet and gooey. Is Cyprus weaving its magic and Lurve on you?

Or is that reserved for Niki?

Sweet and gooey?

I was trying my hardest to be grumpy and objectionable this evening… :?

It’s true that Niki has stolen my heart but I fear that hers is sworn to another.
