You don't really expect the teachers to run round after your daughter to the detriment of the rest of the class do you.
It sounds like you really didn't research your move to Cyprus very carefully especially when it comes to your daughters education.
Had you done your research instead of probably chasing blindly your Cyprus dream you would have found out that your child would be put back one or two class years and would be
placed at the back of the class as what is known as a listener because she can't take part in classroom activities until she understands the Greek language .
Why would you expect the school to bother with your girl if you apparently made no effort to get her additional Greek lessons to give her a fighting chance of understanding whats happening ~
She will remain in the classroom as a listener until she gets a grasp of spoken and written Greek ~ did you have Greek lessons for her or are you expecting the school to teach her ~ some schools are better than others in dealing with immigrants to Cyprus but not all schools have the facility or time to teach Greek as it is naturally expected that Greek will be spoken in school ~ after all it is the spoken language in Cyprus.
Sending her to a paying English school seems to be the best option in your situation and her age BUT these schools apart from being very selective in their intake cost over €5000 a year ~
there are more fail the entrance exam than actually pass especially with the American academy.
I'd be very interested to find out which school in Larnaca your girl attends and I'll try to find out what their policy is on immigrants children.
I don't know how old you are Phil 1 but I'm afraid your continual use of mobile text speak is both irritating and not really setting a good example to your child ~ even if you are a one finger typist it doesn't take much longer to write properly.
