Small car wanted

Postby Selena79 » Mon Jan 21, 2008 9:31 am

I am looking for a small sized car (Yaris, Clio, Honda etc) with an engine no bigger than 1.5. It will be used as a run around for me and trips from Limassol to Nicosia so will need to be reliable. It can be either manual or automatic. Preferably less than 8 years. I am more interested in safety and the reliability than in extras. I am willing to pay up to 5.000 EUR (with MOT and tax). I pay cash, no waiting for loan. Should be in Limassol - but if it has a very good price i will go somewhere else too.

I would also appreciate if you could recommend reliable dealers around Limassol.

I have a new type Nssan march, 2004. VVVV reliable, touch wood, only ever been to the mechanic for servicing!. Havent got it officially for sale as still trying to look for new one, think i have found it so dont mind selling now. Has a few scratches but they are obviously superficial i.e doesnt effect in any way the fact that it's a very good car, so obviously i wouldnt mind any mechanic taking a look at it. Manual, red colour, power steering, electric windows, central locking, MOT till 2009, Road tax hasnt come yet but its about 34 CYP. Would accept 3,000 CYP (5,130 EURO), 5,100 be ok to cover the cost of road tax, which should come in March i think.

I might be able to help to you. I have a Hyundai Matrix 1.6 2004. It is a very reliable car if you are aware of the model. Comes with leather seats, reverse sensors etc. great fuel efficiency as well. Problem is that it is more expensive than your budget, its 9400 Euros with MOT etc included. If its too much for you, its still ok, i am just glad i made an effort to help. :)
