Postby houlkz » Sun Jan 20, 2008 10:33 pm

Hi i have been to Protaras before and never saw a mozzie let alone get bit, and wasnt aware there were any there untill reading this site, are they all over cyprus or just in certain parts, i would like to know cos when we visited corfu last year sidari was full of them and my friend and daughter were bitten dreadfully even though they were taking the B12 and garlic capsules 2 weeks before we went and while we were there

Sure there are. Depends on the time of year though. Maybe thats why you missed them last time.

B12 alone does not work. In fact it is worse than not taking any at all. Reason being that the body non-selectively removes all the B vitamins in an effort to rid itself of excess B12 . . . so you end up with general Vitamin B deficiency.

You need to take a Vitamin B Complex . . . . with a balanced array of all of them. That should see the mozzies off :D

Well Bubbles .... I dub a drop behind my ears and whilst I can hear the little F_____ buzzing around my room I don't get bitten. Try it and let me know :)
