Hello,
I am new to this forum so please take it easy.I am English but grew up in Cyprus,not on the bases but in Limassol.I speak Greek,and understand the vast majority of the language.I have a couple of village houses in a small village nr Trimoklini.
I visit on a regular basis,as my family live in Limassol and have done for a number of years.I spend most of my time in the village,hunting in season,at the coffee shop and genrally chatting to my friends and neighbours.
I grew up through the Turkish invasion,and our family remained in Limassol when the majority of English moved to the bases.I love the island,I have seen it change but still keep coming back.

Welcome purdey! When I was kid I loved Trimiklini because we would stop to get those traditional sweets every time we passed from there on our way back to Limassol :) Now I am on diet :( ... sorts of :P

Thank you,those sweets and homemade jams are still there,I too have a weak spot for them..

What's my kind ? obviously not your kind.Your Government want me and my money,my Cypriot employees want me,why don't you want me.
Or are you one of these Agent Provocateurs I have heard about ?
