Study & Working in Cyprus
I heard that from Janury 2008, there will be work allowed for interantional student (per week 20 hr).. is that true??

You're best off emailing the embassy pal, people here are either Greeks, Turk Cypriots or English and different rules apply.

Are you sure you want to go to Cyprus to work? It's extremely racist and intolerant over there. You're better off trying England.

Yeah the English just bomb the shit out of Muslims, nothing racist there. :roll: In this forum I see much more anti-Muslim English people than Cypriots. The only difference is that maybe some British can pretend more to be politically correct. But we all know what they say between them ;) So don't tell me they are less racist!

The government is working on it but i can not say when they will start to implement. i have been listening from last many years and let's hope for best.
in which college are you coming to study?the jobs are not easily available here because Cyprus is a small island but everyone got his luck and how much one can work hard to find it. :)

you will have hard time here early and make your mind to face it before you come here otherwise you will return soon.

I have to agree with the comments made above, finding work here is not as bright as some may think. It's hard, being called for the interview and getting the job are two different things.
