Questions for all

Is this the kind of role-model you want your kids to aspire to be like ?

Yes! A successful person and a patriot!!

Is Marcos a suitable ambassador for his sport & for sports in general ?

If the best sportsman ever born in Cyprus is not suitable to be an ambassador for his sport then who is it?? :?

Is Marcos a suitable ambassador for Greeks ? Cyprus ? Cypriots ?

YES!

Who dares continue to maintain that Baghdatis is merely singing Mainstream "Normal" Greek Cypriot anthems that every day folk all sing

TURKS OUT OF CYPRUS!! Every Greek says this except from traitors of course.

so from your account you are an endorser of ethnic cleansing then...mashallahhhhh

Accuasions of ethnic cleansing from the one who chants "Turks out of Cyprus!"
The man whom you so vigorously support here has just called for the expulsion of a certain ethnic group from Cypus, he is the very definition of an endorser of ethnic cleansing. I condemn him, and I condemn his calls for the ethnic cleansing of Turks from Cyprus.

Besides, I have stated on many occasions in this forum that I support the right of law abiding greek cypriots to return to the Turkish Cypriot Republic as long as they do not threaten its security, soveregnity, and do not question its right to exist.

Tell me then why didn't turkey liberated you from the Bulgarians, ethnic cleansed them and gave you their properties...when they made you change your name...or are you still praying for turkey to come...

Bulgarians were a little more prudent than you. You obviously learned it the hard way that messing with your Turkish minority while at the same time being a few tens of kilometers off the Turkish shore is bad. Bulgaria's totalitarian government was brought down just in time and a disaster was averted when the country returned to democracy in 1989.
If you have a little foresight, and actually respected your power sharing agreements with the Turkish Cypriots, rather than trying to marginalize them, you too could have avoided the disastrous consequences of the war that ensued.

The turks are from turkey moron...tcs are from Cyrpus...some people just need that extra little bit of education...harami the education you got...but then again you probably got educated in the fascist state called turkey...that will explain a lot I guess...

Moron is the one who says TURKish Cypriots are not Turkish. We share the same religious, linguistic, cultural and historic Ottoman heritage. But of course a Turkophobe would never acknowledge that fact, people like you are programmed from kindergarten to hate Turks and everything Turkish and to spread your venomous hatred everywhere.

bg_turk, you sound like a machine.

...i would much prefer if you used your mind to develop some thoughts that will stimulate your readers to consider how this horrible Problem can be resolved.

repeating this dogma as "venemous hatred" shows in you a weakness which can not serve your cause, whatever that may be, unless of course you are of those few "Greek Cypriots" with whom you tar the 'others'.

If you are here to evolve, my hope is that we can help each other.

If you are here to bey at 'us', i hope that you may remember that we are not unlike, Human's first, and most importantly.

I support a people's right to self-determination, to be liberated and live freely, to not be constantly harassed by greek nationalists and chauvinists.

And no one has the right to blame them for that. You elect a xenophobe for an inter-cultural representative; you say you want unity, and yet you vote for division; you talk about a right of return, and yet you call for the expulsion of "Turks" from Cyprus and deny their right to live on their own land freely. No sane person can live with people like that.
Do you feel the same way for the millions of Kurds who are denied their right of self determination? When can we expect Turkey to show the same sensitivity and end the occupation of Kurdistan?

Kurds can go their own way for all I care. If the separation is as a result of a consensual referendum and the border could be delineated without any bloodshed, I see no problem with a separation.

But with Turkish EU membership and an improving human rights situation, Kurds now have the ability to practice self-determination within the existing boundaries of the Turkish republic. Turkish Cypriot did not have that luxury, because they faced total extermination. If they were to be incorporated into a Greek Cyprus they would have followed the faith of the Cretan Turks when their island was annexed by Greece.

Does this one help ?

Half way through there are reasonably accurate subtitles of the standard HFC Racial vilification that all HFC Members and indeed young Marcos are wont to chant
