Rain

Postby webbo » Wed Jan 16, 2008 9:05 am

I know Cyprus is desperate for rain, but just wish it would rain during the night when most people are safely (and hopefully warmly!) tucked up in their beds! Have to say though, with the blanket of dark grey skies, it is actually warmer today

Still not enough to even make a dent in the dams so hope everyone is still frugal with their water. Dino, talking to you mate

Just heard on the news that Britain is under major 'flood alert'!! How is that for an injustice!!

In Limassol is rainning for more than two hours. I wouldn't want to walk outside on this weather. :D

Wet and windy here this morning… we saw a ‘twister’ in the sea when we were walking Skilos first thing…

Funny thing is that last night the meteorology department announced that there would be no rain for a while.
Maybe they should just say we are going to have a drought for years.
But wait, on second thought, that would cause floods like in England.
Lets just stick with no rain for a while.

I saw frost on the grass for the 1st time in 5 years when I walked my dog early in the morning!!! He STILL goes in the sea though - he doesn't seem to feel the cold...........
