Of course it does! Working in an office is nowhere as hard as moving rocks! But see it this way: Those that move rocks get the most when they are young and strong. The older they get they less they will get, unless they learn some skills meanwhile. An educated person can build a career and earn much more when he is 50 then when he is 25!

Anyway, I am not satisfied, but can't do anything about it, only maybe leave Cyprus.

You would do yourself a world of good if you did. That's precisely why I am leaving. Everytime I visit Canada and come back to Cyprus, I see Cyprus with fresh eyes and I feel even more eager to leave this island. No disrespect to my Cypriot parents, though.... Cyprus just isn't the land of opportunity, if you know what I mean.

When I came here two years ago I thought it will be ok. I think I'm starting to have enough of this island.
I cannot say it's not a nice place, or that there are no nice people here (there are also bad people, as all over the world). But everything is fine only when you have money.
