TC's Villages at NORTH CYPRUS

As i promised from today i am going to give some informations about TC's villages at Northern part of the Cyprus.
Today i will start with the village where i live.

My village is called Pınarbaşı it is also called KIRNI (GIRNI),KİRAN, KİRNİ,KRİNİ.The settlement of the village goes to Middle aged bronge times.
Kirni was famous with her fauntain. İ said was . İn these days fauntain is stoped .
Kirni has got very nice picnic place ,around the village there is a lot's of almond,olive, fig trees and grape yards.

haha i thoguht this couldnt be the occupied territories because there were no flags. how wrong i was - if you look closely on the mineret you can see the invasion flag hanging off it.

From Dagyolu to Bogaz these villages are very peaceful to live .
(Dagyolu,Göçeri, Pınarbaşı ,Kömürcü ve Ağırdağ.)
When i get free time from the work i will put pictures of the rest of the villages as well.
Umit Pınarbaşı village is very famous with her picnic place .
Water supplies goes from hear to Boğaz, Gönyeli , dağyolu and Kanlıköy villages.
at 1st of May most of the MAY Day celebrations takes in Pınarbaşı.
Hoping to see you at our village.

they fly this flag everywhere in the north

Today Another Turkish Cypriot Village pictures .This Place called Göçeri in Turkish.Greek name is Pileri. See the below map.

Some distances from Göçeri (Pileri) :
Krini ( Pınarbaşı ) -(2.5Km)
Photta (Fota, Dağyolu)(3.5Km)
• Phterykha (4.7Km)
Keumurju(KÖMÜRCÜ) (4.8Km)
• Paleosophos (5.3Km)
• Sisklipos (5.4Km)
• Ayios Ermolaos (5.5Km)
• Karmi (5.6Km)
Aghirda(AĞIRDAĞ) (5.8Km)
• Elea (5.8Km)
• Motidhes (5.9

This village is under the Kyrenia Mountains. People of the village occupation mostly occupied by farming. Göçeri village has got water reservoir.İt is a drinking water.From this village water supplies goes to other Turkish Cypriot places via pipes. The water supply of the Gönyeli Town also goes from this village.

People of the villages are very friendly in the villages at weekends you can get chance to eat FİRİN KEBAB (KLEFTİKON) and EFES BEER.
You must try.

or you can have chance to pick up yhe wild eatable vegatables and do your own cooking.
thats what i did this weekend.
Eggs ,olives and yumurta otu.(i will find english name of this vegatable)

Yumurta otu..?? Now, that's a name I have not heard in a very long time, or tasted it either. But I do remember it's dinstictive taste all the same. The picture brought back some nice memories....thanks.

A side note:

There's nothing worse than spoiling a nice picture of a natural setting than having a car in that picture that does not belong in it, so Halil, please only put a vehicle the picture if it adds value and enhances the scenery, otherwise keep them out...thanks.
