When i got enough times i will take more pictures to introduce more Turkish Cypriots villages that they were in North before 74.
today again i will show you secrets of the Pınarbası (Krini)

who were the these primitive people whose civilasation of the distant past harnessed the water resources in Pınarbası to work their mills ? was it us who drained and dried out the area and left the natural and built heritage in the rock and ruin as shown below pictures.

While i was trying to take some pictures of mills i came acrossed with Ayrelli plants . İt was great . İ picked some of them .When i return home i washed them and break them with little pieces. tonight i will cook them. Before and after i break them i took some pictures of the Ayrellies .Here it is.(Ayrelli =Wild Asparagus )

tonight ,i will take cooked pictures of the ayrellies .

at above picture u can see Histrorical Flour Mill. This construction really is a triumph of will of power the laws of physics.İt was design to grind wheath by means of water power. The water was coming by stoned made canals approximately 1km away from the foothills of tha mountain.
İf you go 500 meters away from here you can go to picnic place area shaded by plane trees that gives the village its name .Spring of fresh water.

Afterward i will put them into frying pan .leave them to get dry little bid than add butter and chopped onions in the pan start frying them afterwards break the eggs on top of them and mixed the ingredients with wood spoon till the eggs cooked.

i will take picture of the cookin tonight and put it here.

I AM HOPING HALIL WILL READ THIS MESSAGE as I came across this web site and this particular subject after making a Google search for photos of Pinarbasi, Cyprus or some similar words.

There is just under 1.5 donums of building land for sale in Pinarbasi, advertised with Donaghy & Beyler, estate agents with an asking price of approximately 155,000 lira.

Further details can be found on http://donaghyandbeyler.com/property-details-564

A few questions cross my mind which perhaps you would kindly address in view of your valued local knowledge:-

(1) Is this a reasonable price? It appears on first thoughts as being expensive bearing in mind its country position south of the Kyrenia range and thus with no sea views.

(2) Having looked at the village on Google Earth it is not obvious where in the village the land is. Any idea?

(3) Would a retired British couple with currently a limited Turkish vocabulary of little more than a dozen words be welcome in the village?

(4) Is there any thing else which you think could be pertinent?

If you answer these questions it would be much appreciated
