Hhhmmm .... aren't you going to ask me? :?

Oracle, "cevir da gaz yandi."

One Turkish proverb, not easily translatable.(

The gist is 'the horse has already bolted from the stable.'

What you write is in black and white. Stop squirming. We know what you meant, perhaps Halil did not.

If I wrote in white you would not be able to see it, look ... ....Deniz I am writing this in white ... actually this is really good for sending messages which you don't want anyone to see without going to the trouble of PMs ... hey GR! where are you honey, have we fooled those Turks into thinking we've had a bust up? .... ....Sssshhh!

OK ... I am back to black! 8)
When will you begin to post recipe's for Paphian food as prepared by the delectable Oracle, or perhaps under a new nom de plume! (or should it be nom de guerre) Then we could compare yours with Halils. What you say? and dont say shhhhhhhhh! it is rude.

My rival that other Domestic Goddess Nigella Lawson made me write a disclaimer that I will not be encroaching on her territory ... especially now I've put on some weight like her :P

But I could write a Paphian Diet Book ... so far it just consists of short cucumbers, and lots of lemons.

Actually Deniz ... I had fresh loquets two days ago ... (bit sour still!) :?

Why not try a preserve/conserve/jam from loquat, sour will do. Experiment with a sugar free one for the likes of me and you. Ofcourse you will need a suitable replacement for the sugar. You have the raw materiel. And you can stop teasing me with your fresh loquats. My tree has not got a single flower this year. I suppose I will have to wait another fifteen years, or the next proper climactic conditions. What about trying the Mosphilo too. If you make me a jar, I could forgive all your past tresspasses.

Actually I fancy experimenting with sugar free marmalade ..... lemons and Canderel ...... yum!

I will be honoured to present you and Ann with a jar this Summer. :D

What a stroke of luck finding you.

Unfortunately we are not in a position to come out to Cyprus for the timebeing as our 12 year old Golden Retriever nearly died last Christmas and although he is a tough guy and still fairly happy we could not leave him even for a few days as he has little chance of living much longer. I am sure you understand.

We will certainly take you up on your kind offer when we are able to visit.

Today i will tell you about Boğaz Köy. İt is well devolping village . Boğaz köy once up on a time used as a British military camp .Located between two most beautiful cities of N.Cyprus, Nicosia and Kyrenia, in a peaceful and quiet place where you will enjoy the serenity and calmness. Bogaz is sited amidst decades-old olive and carob trees with views of the stunning Five Finger Mountain and calming Lefkosa Valley, and offers a unique tranquility to its residents while still being only 4 minutes driving distance from Kyrenia and 10 minutes from Nicosia. Historical sights such as the famous Bellapais Abbey, Saint Hilarion Castle, and the Old Harbour of Kyrenia are also within close range.

Oracle wrote:Sheer disbelief that these people can ethnically cleanse 200,000 people from their homes in the first case of such an atrocity since WWII ....... and instead of shutting up with some degree of decorum and "feigned" embarrassment at what they have done ...... they parade around showing pictures of these places that the refugees cannot return to ... and then they have the cold hearted stupidity to act so high and mighty that they like nice food and good company as though they were normal Human beings.

Well listen here all you who live in the "trnc" ... newcomers or old perpetrators ..... you are not normal ... you are not civilised ... you are living in an ethnically cleansed area and those people are still looking to return to their homes ... and whether you have"genuine" deeds or not ... you are not genuine folk.

Enjoy you dinner parties, and pets and pseudo middle class lifestyles pret... you will never form part of normal society. You are a party in prison ... one that no normal person would wish to join!

And as for those British people that go there to make a fresh start ... it just seals your fate as the scum bloody barrel boys you will always remain no matter how cheap and large "your" homes are ....

Once again.......Halil is posting regarding TC villages that were home to TC's prior to 74. Even if the solution you (and others maybe) desire meant that everything went back to say the 14th July 1974, will GC refugees be going to settle in any of the villages Halil describes ? An honest answer will do.
