Where did you get this utter rubbish from?

They are not ignorant of this non-recognition fact ... because this quote is from the DEFRA government site which they link on their sham "pet kennels in the trnc".

DEFRA-UK.gov wrote:The EU does not recognise the area of Cyprus to the north of the buffer zone. Therefore, under EU Regulation 998/2003, that part of Cyprus is regarded as a non-qualifying third country and the UK is obliged to treat it exactly the same as all other non-qualifying third countries.

What do you mean "Turkish Kochan," Rose? Do you mean the property you live on used to belong to a TC, since before 1974?

I don't know who this DEFRA is but they got their wording wrong because it should read...

"The EU does not recognize the ADMINISTRATION of the area of Cyprus to the north of the buffer zone."

...and not the area itself which IS regarded as part of the EU.

all i can say is i'm sitting here wondering how you will ever find a solution to the problems in cyprus. you can't even manage to be civil to each other.you don't know us, what we do, where our money came from ect ect ect. you don't even allow people to have an oppinion. i'm english and brought up to repect other peoples views and rights. in a democracy thats how it works. hopefully the e.u will give you some funding for an education so that you can learn about democracy as this is obviously a new concept to you.

I am still of the view that are northern brothers and sisters are perfectly entitled to do what they wish with their property providing there is a legitimate line of title back to 1974 deeds.

Yeah GR I guess you are the smart ass of the forum. The guy who knows nothing but all, you typical Cypriot . The thing is GR that those resolutions aın't changing reality! Paste as many as you want, we all know about the dirty resolutions passed by the security council. Remember all the fuss for the russians to block Annan's report on Cyprus after the referandum? The one where he asks for the embargoes to be lifted !!

Never mind solutions that do not concern you right now... what exactly did you mean with that "internationally recognised" mumbo-jumbo???

You made a sweeping statement did you not?

As far as GC's are concerned anything after 74 is illegal. Don't think about it too much.

...and as I have proven you are a MISINFORMER on the Internet and you know VERY WELL how I feel about MISINFORMERS right?

our kochan or title deed is pre 74. we stole from nobody.
our kennels are not a sham! we brought 2 dogs with us to north cyprus. both had to have e.u pet passports along with an export certificate from defra!!!!! so they do officially recognise north cyprus they just don't class it as part of the e.u.
so no-it -all get your facts right before giving me a hard time. you obviously lack pedigree
