I know Mark Corcoran very well. He is a famous (award winning) ABC journalist on Foreign Correspondent. Very nice man.

I thought it was a gentle portrayal of a very emotional subject ...

Funny, I didn't pick up an Aussie accent? :?

He lives in Melbourne and works for the ABC network. Foreign correspondent is an Australian current affairs program. He is also married to a Greek Girl from Thesaloniki. Her name is Helen Vatsikopolous who was also an ABC journalist. Mark is a very famous Australian journalist also known to venture in war zones such as Afghanistan and Iraq.

Thanks Paphitis ....

Australia has wormed its way into my affections recently.

Having being re-united with some of my cousins here in Cyprus who have emigrated to Australia (coming up to 3rd generation now  ) ... I realise just how strong the Greek/GC community is over there.

So it's a great link to give me more insight into their world ..... :D

hi, we can answer all your questions regarding pinarbasi. we are the only english family here and have been here 2 years. don't buy through an agent we can take you around a few building plots here and you can deal directly with the owners. all land here has turkish pre 74 deed, so no problems! great village to live in , people are great. location is great because we don't get the humidity like the people living on the other side of mountian with a seaview. if you are looking for a safe, quiet, relaxed home its the village for you. people here have looked after us from day one and welcomed us. we had little turkish when we moved in, not to worry the village is now learning english!
