Pantheman,

That old chestnut again !!!
I have left 3 years ago, and glad I did, Take my money with me, I cannot your government nicked it.

Sod off yourself, I have every right to be on this forum and you well know it, at least I am polite which is more than I can say for you.

As far as liking Cypriots or not my opinions are my own, and if you do not want to know then do not ask. Just because I do not fawn all over them does not mean I do not like them, Most people feel as though they have to lie to keep in the good books in Cyprus, why ? .

There are far more Cypriots in the U.K. than Brits in Cyprus. what if we took the same attitude as you ?

The point is as I understand it, person A buys a brand spanking new sports car say, his neighbour person B likes what he sees, Person A earns more than person B . So Person B goes and gets a loan to buy a car which is even better than person A. Gets into heavy debt and bingo financial chaos.

As we to the best of my knowledge have never met , how do you know what I did with my money, as it happens we did a lot for charity, mainly childrens charities in Cyprus both with time and money. I have to say that the people who worked hard were mainly the expats, perhaps the Cypriots were too busy or had other things on thier minds.

Please do not judge me, you do not know me.

Seems to me you just don't like cypriots.

BooHoo, if you haven't already gone then far from me to stop you. Bye Bye. Oh and take your money with you.

I get sick of hearing from people like you how you come here with all you money and that we should all be grateful to you. You chose to come to this country, if it doesn't suit you and the cypriots get up your nose then just sod off.

As for reading this thread, Yes i chose to, but good lord what cry babies the pair of you.

Pantheman,

How nasty you are! It's so obvious that if someone doesn't like Cyprus (and there are many) he or she can sod off to wherever they came from...we all know that thankyou as we have been told enough times by arrogant Cypriots. Let us hope that you feel the same way to the enormous population of Cypriots who choose to live in Europe and other parts of the world. As a foreigner in your most "wonderful" country(I'm assuming you are Cypriot) I shall complain about anything I feel is not right. I don't care if you mind or not as Cypriots are masters at complaining themselves as we can read every week in the two English language Cypriot papers. Why don't you do something yourself about the problems here instead of blaming foreigners for your pathetic problems and for bringing in their money to this so called country to help your corrupt economy.

Like I said, if you think Cyprus is so bad then put up or shut up. No one is holding you here. Oh, and take your precious money with you, just remember to leave the profits though because you can't have it both ways.

Eitherway, the choice is yours. And I suppose where ever it is you come from it is all roses and not corrupt? I don't think so. What have you done about that? I will tell you, jack shit thats what. So, please don't lecture me.

I haven't blamed anyone for anything, you have just got your knickers in a twist, and it was not me who was complaining it was your buddies jojo and cheshire cat.

So that said, have a nice day.

Why is everyone interested in what my education is? If I say a degree in electronics they warm to me. If I say I didn't finish in anything, I'm treated like a good for nothing slave.

Fact is, if you have nothing, people don't want to know you, they can't use you to progress in their circle. Its the observation that I've had so far.

I used to drive a sports BMW when I was 22 years old and now I'm 37, I drive a pickup. For me its the same thing a reliable car. I even prefer driving the pickup than my other car which is a renault scenic.

I very much like it when I park the pickup, blocking someones way... they walk in the shop saying "Is the silver pickup yours?"

To which I reply " yeap the porche is mine"

Then I get a dirty look.

I must admit I do like certain luxuries in life even if that is called a 50 inch plasma TV.

Ain't got one yet... but when my 38 inch Thompson dies on me I will be straight to the shop to buy ME one... even if the other half moans.

I think Hazza has a good point there, I noticed you were either "useful" in Cyprus either by your social connections or by what you could do for someone. Often when you are introduced to someone it is " this is my Friend so and so" he/she has this position in what ever department.
Dangaman I had a BMW 3 series when we were there and everyone particularly blokes would say " does your husband know you have got the car" they never believed the car was mine weird. I think the point we are making is when your T.V. or what ever turns its toes up, great get a new one and the best you can afford , but ,going out and getting into debt just because Fred next door has a better telly than you is a mugs game.

If you can afford it that is fine, but owing money sucks.
