Yes, I vaguely remembered the Greek connection, hence the name Con (John). When in 1956/58 during the rioting in the area, that was the only Greek interest shop left, then I heard they split up. I dont know any details. My memory is a bit hazy with this one. Are you good at cut and paste?

Fortune Telling

After the coffee is drunk the cup is placed upside down on its saucer. After the cup has cooled, the fortuneteller examines the patterns formed by the grounds. The shapes and patterns left by the grounds on the cup and saucer have various symbolic meanings:
The art of reading coffee grounds is as old as coffee itself. Coffee fortune telling was born out of Turkish Coffee. It is an inseparable part of the pleasure and conversation associated with coffee.
This ritual spread to Europe at the end of the 17th century when it became fashionable in Paris, from where it spread to Austria, Hungary and Germany.
to find out what is the meaning of these patterns pls clik on below link.

U MUST TRY ABOVE LİNK.

just point on the pattern names and read it and note them for your own next fortune read.
