UK special Envoy for CYPRUS

Postby halil » Thu Jan 10, 2008 12:03 pm

Britain's special envoy for Cyprus in Ankara for talks.
British Prime Minister's special envoy for Cyprus Joan Ryan had talks with the Foreign Ministry officials and members of Parliament's foreign Affairs Committee on Wednesday. Ryan had the pulse of Ankara ahead of a new possible initiative for the solution to the Cyprus problem after the elections in Greek Cyprus, the diplomats said. Ryan, a member of the ruling Labor Party, was accompanied by Simon Horner, a high level British diplomat.

This is not the case but even if it was Turkeys Republic of Northern Cyprus at least we are not at risk of another genocide.

The only risk of genocide to TCs by GCs, was in their minds.

When working out risks and probabilities you first need some data of at least just one such event. Otherwise the probability remains at zero.

When looking at the number of Genocides committed by Turkey though, then its neighbours have a very high risk of meeting their end at the hands of Turks.

If we were to be mature and realistic about the whole thing then you and I both know there will not be any genocide carried out on anybody. We are just bitching, its something us Cypriots are good at
