To be specific I live in Kato Zodia and have been so for 9 years.

In the situation after 74 TC's had to live separately for security purposes, so in the end some GC's would have to have been moved, somewhere.

Kato Zodia was my grandfathers village...He built a new church for Ayios Nikitas over here in Latsia. The huge amount of land in Zodia which is filled with Trees (Eucalyptus I think) is all his.

I guess that grumpy old man had it coming.

For fu*k sake, I didn't use the phrase " they had it coming" as it was ok, I used it to express that GC's actions would cause a reaction in the end. The thing is that if Turkey had intervened earlier it might have been better for everyone, maybe the situation wouldn't hav climaxed to to extent it did.

And you are so naive to beleive or support the idea that Tr would have been gentle to Cyprus if she invaded earlier? Turkey made her plans for invating Cyprus at the early 50's.

I'm not trying to say it was just, GC's to have being forced out of there homes. I'm just trying to say it was the act of GC's that brought it to this sort of situation.

Security Council Resolution 186 (1964)
-Condemns the Turkish aggression and state sponsored terrorism against Cyprus that began in December 1963 which the Security council states is in violation of Article 2 Paragraph 4 of the UN Charter and orders Turkey to refrain from further use or threat of any such action
-Gives a mandate to the Cypriot National Guard to put an end to the bloodshed and restore the rule of law using all necessary means.

Security Council Resolution 193 (1964)
-In the wake of continued Turkish aggression against Cyprus, including hostage taking by the Turkish government sponsored TMT terrorist group and the parachuting in of Turkish commandos, and its escalation to the bombing and napalming of civilians by the Turkish Air-Force the UN demands the Turkey cease instantly its bombardment and use of military force of any kind against Cyprus.

"Even if the Turkish Cypriot community did not exist, Turkey would not have left Cyprus to Greece..."
Raouf Denktash {Leader of TMT terrorist organization.}

TMT Leaflet Circulated on 7 May 1958:
"Oh Turkish Youth! The day is near when you will be called upon to sacrifice your life and blood in the "PARTITION" struggle - the struggle for freedom... You are a brave Turk.
You are faithful to your country and nation and are entrusted with the task of demonstrating Turkish might. Be ready to break the chains of slavery with your determination and willpower and with your love of freedom. All Turkdom, right and justice and God are with you. PARTITION OR DEATH."

quoted in Nancy Crawshaw "The Cyprus Revolt", 1978

Did they spare no one in their teachings of propaganda and hate    And we sat around for decades keeping their homes for them. The biggest mistake they have ever made is to take the kindness and good will of the Turkish Cypriot people and see it as a weakness instead of the tower of strength it is.

I see that you can never forget me Zan. I'm flattered! :)

Well, regarding me being racist ...if you call those who love their country, want peace for their coutry, want to live in peace with their compatriots, want their basic human rights restored ...then I'm not just a racist Zan but the no1 racist.
... but why am I saying all these to you? What can someone who had an overdose of detergents during his brainwashing, understand?
