Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

all is forgiven Andy the Ablino Gorilla! we gorillas have to stick together, after all, we are a peaceful and loving species!

Throwing a cold bucket of water over the two usually works...Works for dogs anyway...

seriously though...........My brother inlaw, who hates cats, has been so distressed with what is going on in Cyprus with cats that he actually feeds them in his garden. Something I thought I would never see....

zan, i love your brother in law!
and i have tons of ideas to deal with the cat overpopulation...if only my GC would see the light and marry me, and i could live in CY and work on the pet problem.

as for politics, Stout, i prefer to stay out of them!

Whats the problem with Cyprus having some wild life? Do we have to cut the balls of every animal and put it in a cage? Just let them be I say!

It is awful to say it but you do become immune to stray cats and seeing the many victims on the roads. The stray cats are a total nuisance with our own 2 cats we brought from the UK and often hurt them with their fighting (natural instinct I know but it still doesn't help). If we fed them they would take over.

I began by feeling so sorry for them being a cat and animal lover but as time goes on here the sympathy becomes less. It is true also that if you become known as cat lovers, locals drop off unwanted cats and kittens on your doorstep.

i can think of far worse things than to be known as the cat lady, and end up caring for a gazzillion cats.
some of my best friends are cats, and sometimes i think i would not be here now if not for cats. i do not believe i could ever be immune from too many cats.....

that is understandable Niki, and that is why there needs to be a plan , and someone like me to help impliment it, to make the stray problem less of a problem....

GG, tell me who he is and I'll have a word with him tomorrow when I'm in Larnaca. If you think it will help, I'll take my shotgun with me. :)
