You're a TC VP. You can do whatever the hell you like. No one cares anymore. You're not part of the equation.

     :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

just Turkey and Greek Cypriots discussing now my friend. Not enough of you in the north for your opinion to matter anymore.

ANything that happens from now on whether directly or indirectly will be between us and turkey. Any solution that comes out that isn't a unified state as it should be will mean we border with Turkey.

If you say so, you can negotiate with Turks, you will find they are more hardliners than any TC can be.

didn't say whether i like it or not....just said your opinion as a TC does not matter when it comes to the future of this island.

OK, you see we dont have a problem with that, its you that should be worried as they dont give a shit about you people as there is no history.

whereas you've been all love and cuddles.

As Denktash said.. A Turk is a Turk. Don't make no difference to us anymore.

It could easily be all cuddles and love in the future. Do you mean the above, is it from the heart? Or are you angry with your late FIL's untimely death, or maybe something else upsetting you?

Or is this how you really feel and felt all along about TCs.

Ho theres a big difference and if you cant see that then thats your loss, TCs do not want any harm to come to GCs we have a history together and this is your island as well, its apity we cannot share it as we are like chalk and cheese. The Turks on the other hand see you a little shitty people they do not have th etime of day for and would rather wipe you off the face of the earth.

thats our problem with the Turks and we'll argue our existenc with them when we inspect their govt procedures and economy in order to decide whether or not they have a future in Europe.

MrFromnG I made it clear I quoted Denktash. I'm merely making a point to VP. You know what my feelings are about TC's.

I wouldn;t let a personal tragedy affect my logic and thinking that I've had since adulthood.

DT,

You underestimate the will, strength and desire of the TCs. You need to give us a little more credit, we deserve it.

If this strength gets the likes of VP what he wants and the Eric Dayi's what they desire then its got a chance cause its right up Turkeys alley. Any other wills and desires won't be met.

No comment about ericdayi. But I think VP is misunderstood. He, like you and me and the vast majority of Cypriots wants and desires a peaceful solution to the problem.

But if there is no solution in sight as a last resort he wants partition. If we are going to have closure by partition so be it. I mean lets be honest, how long can this uncertainty go on for. I think this is the view of the vast majority of TCs. I'd be surprised if some GCs didn't share the same view.

Turkey does not have a place in the EU, everyone can see that, with no EU leverage where does that leave you guys? Up the creek without a paddle imo.

There are a few of the younger ones. I can't deny that I've been hearing it a little more recently. The caveat being placed is how much land in exchange for recognition do you want to give up and is recognition really in Turkeys interest?

I've heard a lot of good arguments that its not.
