I can't read the letter but your comments in English are very interesting and seem heart felt and I applaud you for it. I suppose the same can be said for the TRNC rich as well.

You say you would rather do something than nothing....And I feel as if I am inviting a pure heart into Sodom......But......Why not air your views here.

Take everything with a pinch of "salt" with the option to leave when you've had your "Lot".......

thank you Zan. To be honest with you I was a bit disturbed to see Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots to attack each other verbally on this forum. I hope there was something we could do to change this. I am sure everybody understands that it is better to try and find common threads than fighting over the obvious...the differences. I am convinced there are more common things than differences among the 2 people....who should actually be one. Where do you live?

with all the respect , but you pose no questions.
how do you expect to receive an answer ?

you suggest certain things, some too general some too specific - not necessarily wrong, but often unrelated to each other.

.....
i do not disagree with some of your ideas.
but do not expect christofias to answer to you.
they generally do not!
and if they ever do, they will make sure they will answer to someone who agrees with them.

thanks cypezokyli,

I appreciate the fact that you read the letter and your comments very much. Even though I do not ask many questions I do make suggestions - I thought - about new ideas and I would expect an answer as to whether he thinks those ideas have merit and can be implemented.

No offense but in your letter you boast a lot and kiss his ass. Your self promotion was too obvious. ;)

Soto,

none taken...my explanation on that is expressed in one of the contributions on my cyprusissue blog which you have visited. It is about doing the right thing i.e. in this case taking an active interest in what is going to happen in Cyprus and offer some ideas that could improve the lives of everyone even if there are selfish drives. I will suggest to you that it is better to do that than doing nothing.

I have to agree with SOtos..it read a little like someone posting a cv on the web and hoping for a good position from Christofias if he becomes president.
