BK, just kidding.

Didn't see this before I send the post above.

Kutlu olsun kardesim... :D

Yeh, I have to watch my discreet Turkish messages from now on.

But Zan, is there a better way of understanding your adversary than through their language? You could do the same. You know enough Turkish, now is time to learn Greek. Then you could understand what your other 'yegen' is talking about.

I missed this post as well......

In the back of my mind...Greek, to me, is about deception. The reason is that when my parents used to use it, it was because they were planning to go to the Turkish Cinema in Hackney as soon as we little ones were asleep. My older sister was always left holding the baby as it were.  It became a joke in the family and still to this day whenever they start to speak in greek one of us accuses them of trying to sneak out to the cinema.

Unfortunately, some on this forum have re-enforced that feeling in a much more sinister way.

I'm speaking from personal experience Deniz, it looks like I'm about 5 months older than you. Are you retired or do you still work?
