Latakia ferry line

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Bananiot wrote:You would have saved Cyprus from partition and you would share our island with our fellow compatriots in peace and prosperity within the EU into which a UNITED Cyprus would have entered, from cape Andreas to Paphos, from Kyrenia to Larnaca!

What would be "united" apart from the name? The Turks would rule the north and we the south. You call that united? It would not be more united than it is now, but at least now we have a country, not a community.

Peace? I don't want your capitulation kind of peace. Peace will come when our rights are restored and our homeland liberated.

Prosperity? Only for the TCs. We would be way worst than we are now.

Did the Annan plan prohibit ferries going to the occupied areas Bananiot? If we had done what you wanted then the TCs would have all the ferries they wanted, not just one. So if one ferry is the destruction of Cyprus, then imagine what it would be if we had accepted the Annan plan.

One ferry is just the beginning, when there is the need more will follow.

Thanks for letting us now that one ferry from Syria covers all your needs

Bananiot wrote:Eric, what were your feelings on the Annan Plan?

That it gave you GCs the power to eliminate us TCs legally by buying our lands and having your ENOSIS within 15 years.

I was dead against it and the OXI vote of the GCs saved our bacon as they say.

For the GCs the OXI vote was one of the biggest mistakes they could have ever made and I told them that it would backfire in their faces at the time but as usual they didn't believe me, they still don't but no skin off my nose, they are the ones who are slowly but surely loosing the political war.

I am glad the ferries with those 3rd world countries satisfy all your needs. Because I though there was some isolation you were crying about.

This should be public-access information, so the fact they are being secretive means they are up to further illegalities.

Anyone travelling under such conditions would be either a desperate illegal immigrant, a stowaway, Turkish, mad or all four

Come down dear, it's already public-access information, it's just that you GCs are too slow or is it Papadope stopping the news reaching the GC South Cyprus until after he wins the elections? I hope so....

Really, where is this public access information? Halil does not have it. It's his quote which states non-disclosure.

So how legal is this ferry this time round?

So you admit that it was a "3rd world country" who kicked your arse? Ain't you ashamed?

Your superiority complex is on of the reasons why you are in deep shit and you still cling on to it like it was going to get you your ENOSIS.

It hasn't helped you before and it will not help you in the future.
