They did dipstick and gave us a constitution to do with as we pleased.....What you wanted was only what pleased you and you decided to take it by force......We as Turkish Cypriots are going nowhere. This is our home and we have a right to self determination...It could have been done amicably if you hadn't started the killing.....

This is our island. Why should Turkey or Britain impose on us what we should have on our own island? And since they are the ones taking the decisions and not allowing us to take them, then they were the ones who "sow", not us.

Turks and the British came to our island uninvited and unprovoked. They should piss off in the same way they came and stop trying to impose on us what we will do with our own island, and then blame us on top of it because the crap they force on us do not work.

Did we ever tell to Turkey or Britain what system they should have in their countries? Did we ever tell to the UK that its Muslim minority should have 50% power, or to Turkey that the Kurds should have 50% power and Cyprus should maintain bases in Adana, or any of the other crap those foreigners are imposing on us?

Come on VP, here we are talking about an obvious colonialist expansion of big powers against small Cyprus, and trying to find excuses to hide this obvious fact is totally ridiculous.

Zan, you started the killing not us.

The very first time, started by you:

Throughout the period of Venetian rule, Ottoman Turks raided and attacked at will. In 1489, the first year of Venetian control, Turks attacked the Karpas Peninsula, pillaging and taking captives to be sold into slavery. In 1539 the Turkish fleet attacked and destroyed Limassol. Fearing the ever-expanding Ottoman Empire, the Venetians had fortified Famagusta, Nicosia, and Kyrenia, but most other cities were easy prey.

In the summer of 1570, the Turks struck again, but this time with a full-scale invasion rather than a raid. About 60,000 troops, including cavalry and artillery, under the command of Lala Mustafa Pasha landed unopposed near Limassol on July 2, 1570, and laid siege to Nicosia. In an orgy of victory on the day that the city fell--September 9, 1570--20,000 Nicosians were put to death, and every church, public building, and palace was looted.

The more recent conflict, started by you again:

Was that constitution a result of democratic procedures among Cypriots, or made and imposed by the British?

Did we make the constitution of UK? Did we make the constitution of Turkey? Why should they make our own constitution instead of us?

ERR! Perhaps the situation dictated what measures should be taken and your hundreds of years old aim of ENOSIS and not self determination might have prompted he need for mediators. The fact hat they had a vested interest too didn't help but instead of killing fellow Cypriots and planning their downfall for decades you should have thought about democracy then......Funny how you thin time bend around what you guys want and sod everyone else......

And who the hell are British or Turks to tell us what to do with our island. Union with Greece was our legitimate right, and we made a referendum where the 96% of Greek Cypriots (80% of Cypriots) supported union with Greece. That was the democratic wish of the Cypriot people.

But then the British and you started to kill us in order to impose on us your will instead of accepting the democratic choice of the Cypriot people.

Do you honestly believe that that line still works Piratis...    You have been taking little snippets from Nikitas posts and now think you can use other lines to contradict yourself.....Nice one    Pitty Nikitas also said hat the GC people had no concept or need and want for ENOSIS but as you quite rightly said,,,,,Nearly all the GCs voted for ENOSIS in Churches that were off limits to any TC voters....And you wear the badge of democracy with pride.......Take it off man...It has no place anywhere near your corrupt thinking...Lets take a vote but a ethnic one....
